(pic left) Today is 17th July 2010 and we are going to the Inishowen Agricultural Show in Carndonagh to compete in the All Ireland Championship Qualifying round!
Am so excited! Feels so unreal to be in this show. Once again its a lovely day and there is a huge turnout. We go to the secretary’s office to register and find out only 4 people are competing! This will be a tough one! First up was the Pet show – there was some really lovely pets including a pet lamb! How cute!
(pic right)Then it was our turn. The judge came over and looked at all the dogs. There was Kaiser, a Rough Haired Collie, a Labrador and a Burmese Mountain dog. I felt really nervous as the Collie especially was gorgeous. As she stood deciding, I wasn’t sure if we stood a chance. She then walked over to us and I thought, ” there we go, we got 4th. Not Bad” BUT…. she gave us 1st prize!!!! AMAZING!!!!
WOW! We have made it to the final of the All Ireland Championship Show sponsored by Gails Dog Food to be held in Clonaslee, Co Laois on the 12th September 2010!!
We came home on a total high!! Never believed we would be so lucky. Will keep you up to date with his progress and the preparation for the Big Show!
