Review of the First Kids Summer Camp 2011
WE decided to host a Summer camp for kids aged 6-12 years where kids could come learn all about dogs, have fun and enjoy tasting owning a dog.
The children brought their own dogs as well as using dogs from the centre and learnt how to be responsible dog owners, they learnt about the laws in Ireland. The children experienced the joys of dog sports such as agility and clicker training alongside basic obedience and games and lots and lots of laughter!
We had a GSD, a Saluki, a Rottweiler, a lab x, a Cavalier King Charles, a Pomeranian, and a collie.
It was a great success and we are planning the next one for Summer 2012!
